Nutan
	Nutan gave a masterful performance opposite Amitabh in the movie Saudagar (1973) where she portrays the wife of a Jaggery maker (Amitabh) who's in love with another woman. For those who say Amitabh hasn't experimented should look at this movie as a counter example.
Waheeda Rehman
The beautiful Waheeda Rehman first did Kabhi Kabhi with Amitah. In subsequent movies she would often appear in AB's double role movies where she would play wife to the senior Bachchan and mother to the young Amitabh
Jaya Bhaduri
	Amitabh and Jaya Bhaduri first acted together on the sets of Ek Nazar (1971) and went on to do several flop films together. Nevertheless they got married anyway(:- Among the more memorable films they did were Abhiman (1973), Chupke Chupke (1975) and Silsila (1981). After a 20 year gap, the husband-wife pair returns to the silver screen in Karan Johar's upcoming production: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum (2001)
Rekha
Amitabh and Rekha's name forever would conjure up memories of a love affair that perhaps never was. They were the hottest screen pair of late 70s and early 80s up until Silsila (1981) when allegedly the reel life affair transferred onto the real but that had to be curtailed as there was this little problem of Amitabh being married...Nevertheless, AB and Rekha made for some extremely popular movies including Khoon Pasina, Ganga ki Saugandh, Mr. Natwarlal, Muqaddar ka Sikandar, Suhaag, Ram Balram, and Silsila
Jaya Pradha
	Jaya Pradha came from the South in the mid-80s and starred opposite AB in 1984's biggest hit: Sharaabi where she played a stage dancer who falls for the Rich Drunk Man. She was also opposite Bachchan in Akhiri Raasta, Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, Aaj ka Arjun, and Kohram
Hema Malini
Hema Malini was the undisputed superstar of the 70s. The surprising part was that though she worked in several memorable movies with Bachchan during that decade, she never was opposite him with the exception of 1974's Kasauti which was a heroine oriented movie. After a big gap, they were opposite each other in Naseeb (1981) and then in Satte pe Satta (1982) and Andha Kanoon (1983). But perhaps the most memorable AB-Hema scene took place in 1975's Sholay where AB asks the loquacious Hema Malini with the now famous line: "Tumhara Naam Kya hai Basanti!"
Parveen Babi
	Parveen Babi, like Zeenat Amaan was an amazing looking actress of the late 70s and early 80s. She worked with Amitabh in Majboor, Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Khuddar
Rakhee
Amitabh and Rakhee were a very mature screen couple. They worked in sophisticated romances like Kabhi Kabhi and Barsaat Ki Ek Raat
Amrita Singh
	Amrita Singh debuted in 1983 with Betaab and became a successful actress in the mid-80s. She was fortunate enough to do films such as Mard (1985), Toofan (1989), and Akayla (1991) with Amitabh Bachchan
Sridevi
Sridevi was to the 80s what Hema Malini was to the 70s, i.e the undisputed supestarni of bollywood. She worked opposite AB in Inquilaab (1984), Akhiri Raasta (1986) and Khuda Gawah (1992).
Smita Patil
	Smita Patil was one of the best actresses the country's ever had. Though she was more known for her work in art cinema, she did work opposite Bachchan in two of Amitabh's most noticeable movies, both of which were released in 1982: Namak Halal and Shakti
Dimple Kapadia
Dimple Kapadia hit the bigtime with her very first realease in Bobby (1971) but surprising didn't work with AB until Ajoobe in 1991 and then again in Mrityudaata in 1997. Both were bad movies and bombed at the box office.

	Meenakshi Sheshadri was another cute actress from the south who worked in several movies with the Big B in the late 80s and early 90s, the most notable of which was 1988's release: Shahenshah
Rati Agnihotri
Rati Agnohitri made her debut in hindi films with Ek Duje Ke Liye (1981) and had a promising but a relatively shortlived career. She appeared in one of AB's most eventful films, the 1983 blockbuster Coolie.
Kimi Katakar
	Kimi Katakar is one of those forgetteable actresses who had nothing to showcase except their bodies. Her most memorable role is from the Jumma Chumma movie: 1991's Hum.
Manisha Koirala
Manisha Koirala, a fine actress by all accounts did one forgettable movie with AB called Lal Baadshah. Nevertheless, she was thrilled to be just working with the Big B since she had idolized him since childhood!
Zeenat Amaan
	Zeenat Amaan was one of Amitabh's favorite actresses to work with because they'd known each other even before they joined films. They were temperamentally bipolar and that made for an interesting pair in such memorable films as Don, The Great Gambler, Dostana, Laawaris, Pukar and Mahaan
